Relapse

Relapse ...   yes it's a Relapse !!  Definitely ... What else it can be ??  5 months have passed since i wrote here last time. And then ?   Then i simply ignored it. Just like I do with almost every other thing. I imagine something... then for a change i work on it for a little bit.. I get happy for a while  and then i just simply ignore it... Or may be I just forget to write again.... Or may be i just don't get into the Right moods to express myself.. ?
It's 12:30 AM in the night. Yes the Right time for me.. Has always been the Right time for me to imagine things, to think about issues that I usually don't give a hoot normally. But lately I have been sleeping early. May be that's a reason that I have lost my thinking power :P   I know that's the lamest excuse that one can come up with, but folks, believe me that just might be the issue here. Next question is  "why now?" ..  Hmmmm ..  I also don't have a clue. But I know that I am happy with my Relapse ....

Is Globalisation leading us to a world full of Boredom ?

Globalisation !!  Sounds a great word that we all seem to so like. Like it's something that is now ingrained in our psyche with  something like a good memory. But is there any Globalisation hater out there ? I ask the question to myself. Do i ? Should i ? then why ?  why not ?

Yes, why not hate Globalisation?  Is it really leading us to a merry future? The life which was just limited to one's own village just few hundred years back now has lost all boundaries. Physically, virtually we all are globalised. Physically by fast migration and virtually through Internet. And we all are loving it.  Now that latest fashion from Europe or that sushi , pasta  ain't any remote to us. Be it cloths, food, fashion, music or any entertainment. Great isn't it .. but for how long this feeling is gonna last?

Day by day, year by year we all are moving in one direction like a herd. Like Mindless Goats. We are wearing  the same kind of cloths ,be it in Us or India or Zambia. The shirts, the trousers, the pair of jeans, its all the same .  A man wearing a dhoti in a city like Mumbai is a divine sight now. Native dressing is finished in cities and it is already on its way out from countryside too ..  the phenomenon is the same all over the world.. And we all are looking the same, like some clones.

Yes, you may argue its getting us towards equality, but what about the losing variety? the basic ingredient of anti-boredom. What a boring world it would be if after some 100 years down the line, there would be no one looking dis-similar to another. The same goes for the food, the music, the movies, the language or the architecture of our buildings. Think about anything. They all will be the same all over the world.

Globalisation is killing the very ingredient that makes us enjoy things.. travel places.. to enjoy the difference of cultures.. to meet people that are different than us.. who think different than us..

I am happy in a way that i was born in the late 20th century.. as i just can't imagine life on earth some 100 years from now.. *shudders* at the thought.
